It functions as an envelope clutch, tablet sleeve, or document holder. Epsom holds the flat panels rigid without buckling. Gold hardware warms the black leather.
Collector's Insight:
The Kelly Dépêches Pochette is the flattest piece in the Kelly Dépêches range, slimmer than the standard Dépêches 25 which has a gusseted body. The Pochette has no gusset and lies completely flat, making it a true envelope format. Noir Epsom with Gold hardware is the most classic specification. The format is gender-neutral, functioning equally as a men's document sleeve or a women's evening clutch.
