The Tutti Frutti collection was Hermès at its most unguarded: a Spring/Summer 2016 run of small leather goods shaped as fruit rather than referencing it, built across four forms that season, Apple, Lemon, Orange and Strawberry. Pomme is the apple. The body is worked entirely in Tadelakt, a chrome-tanned calfskin finished to a smooth, almost lacquered surface, cut and stitched into the fruit's silhouette rather than applied as a print or a charm. A leaf-shaped pull in a contrasting Chevre goatskin, in a muted taupe tone, sits at the stem and closes over a palladium zip running the width of the top seam. A slim leather strap threads through a small buckle at the seam, letting the piece carry as a wristlet or a cross-body depending on how it's worn.

The house built Tutti Frutti Pomme across two sizes: a compact coin-purse read most often on the resale market at roughly 3 inches across, and a larger clutch-scaled version built to the dimensions below. This example is the larger size, harder to find than the coin-purse version and pristine rather than the visibly carried examples that typically surface.

Collector's Insight: Hermès rarely lets a bag be literal, and Tutti Frutti is the exception, a single season where the house let a clutch be exactly what it looked like. The line never returned after 2016, so the population is whatever survived that one release, and most of what circulates today is the smaller coin-purse size in visibly carried condition. A larger Pomme in Pristine condition sits well outside what typically comes to market.
