Shoulder Birkin 42 JPG in Bleu Jean Togo with Palladium hardware. Designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, the Shoulder Birkin is an elongated, cropped Birkin with extended handles for shoulder carry. Bleu Jean is a medium, washed denim-blue from the Hermès permanent palette, one of the most recognized Hermès blues. Togo is a grained bull calf with scratch resistance and a relaxed hand. On the Shoulder Birkin format, Togo develops a distinctive slouch over time that is characteristic of the original JPG production. Palladium hardware. Contrast stitching in white. Interior lined in Bleu Jean Chèvre with zip pocket and two open pockets.

Bleu Jean Togo is one of the most collected color and leather combinations across all Hermès silhouettes, and finding it on the JPG Shoulder Birkin adds the scarcity of a discontinued format. The bag retains structure in the front while the Togo body has relaxed into the characteristic slouch that vintage JPG collectors value.
Resale Insight: Original JPG Shoulder Birkins have appreciated significantly since the 2024 reissue reignited interest in the format.
