Hermès Shoulder Birkin 42 JPG Bleu Jean Togo Palladium Hardware

Jean Paul Gaultier designed the Shoulder Birkin during his years at Hermès, stretching the Birkin into a long, shallow silhouette with handles long enough to wear on the shoulder and clear a coat. At 42 cm across it reads closer to a portfolio than a handbag.

Bleu Jean is the house's soft, washed denim blue, gray enough to work as a neutral. On Togo the raised grain holds the color evenly, contrast stitching traces the elongated panels, and palladium hardware keeps it cool.
