In May 2019, a remarkable iteration of the iconic Sellier Kelly bag was first seen at a private Hermès press preview. This new version was noteworthy due to its minuscule size of 5cm. Indeed, this micro-mini Kelly is so tiny that it might be better classified as a charm rather than an actual bag. However, it remains a fully functional accessory, just like its full-sized counterparts.
A standout feature of this diminutive bag is its iconic Kelly closure, meticulously replicated in miniature form, complete with precise stamping and a fully lined interior. The only variations from the original are the absence of interior pockets and the addition of a silk-wrapped handle and strap.
Just like the full-sized Kellys, these nano bags are notoriously elusive, making it challenging to locate one in Hermès boutiques. The showcased example in this context, brand new from the store, is presented in a stunning Blue Electric color.
