Vert Cru is a bright, clean green sometimes referenced as Granny or Apple Green, produced most actively in the 1990s and now discontinued. On Gulliver leather, the color saturates fully, with the smooth, supple surface absorbing the dye to produce a depth that grained leathers diffuse. Gulliver is the predecessor to Swift, sharing its softness and minimal grain but with a slightly firmer hand that holds structure better on small formats.
This is the vintage Kelly 20, with deeper proportions and a rounded top handle that distinguish it from the current Mini Kelly II. Retourne construction gives the bag a soft, rounded profile. Gold hardware warms the green without competing with it. An ○V stamp dates this to 1992, over 30 years ago, and excellent condition at that age on a smooth leather with no grain to hide surface marks is notable.
