Kelly Danse II in the Anate limited-edition configuration: Sesame Swift leather with long leather fringe extending from the base. Gold Kelly tournante closure on front flap, tonal stitching throughout. Adjustable flat leather strap threads through rear D-rings, configuring the bag as a crossbody, shoulder bag (short or long drop), backpack, belt bag, or clutch (strap detached). Interior lined in tonal Sesame lambskin with one open wall pocket and a removable Swift leather base insert.
Swift is a smooth, fine-grained calfskin ; lightweight, with saturated color depth and a slight sheen. It shows scratches more readily than textured leathers (Togo, Clemence, Epsom) but minor surface marks can be buffed out with gentle pressure. The Anate fringe is cut from the same Swift hide as the body, attached along the full width of the base via a hand-laced whipstitch seam visible at the junction. Sesame is a warm tan introduced in Autumn/Winter 2021, positioned between Gold and Biscuit in the Hermès neutral spectrum ; lighter and more yellow-toned than Ébène, darker and warmer than Nata.

The Kelly Danse was designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier and produced from 2008 to 2013. Hermès reintroduced it as the Kelly Danse II in 2019 with updated proportions. The Anate is a limited-edition fringe variant introduced in the Fall/Winter 2023 collection, produced exclusively in Swift leather across a small number of colorways: Sesame and Moka with gold hardware; Noir, Blue Jean, Jaune Citron, and Yucca with palladium hardware. The Anate was not added to the permanent Kelly Danse II line ; it was a seasonal release. Swift is the only leather used for the Anate; the fringe requires a smooth, flexible hide that cuts cleanly and hangs without curling.

Interior is lined in matching leather. Hermès craftsmanship is evident in the hand-stitched saddle stitch, a technique that uses two needles working in opposite directions through pre-punched holes. Each piece is completed by a single artisan.
