Rubis is the house's jewel red: a deep, saturated berry with cool undertones, darker than Rouge Casaque and less brown than Rouge H. Evergrain, a fine, tight-grained calfskin with a matte finish and a soft hand, sits between Togo's tumbled grain and Epsom's pressed texture.
Retourne construction gives the Kelly 28 soft, rounded edges that suit the pliable leather, and palladium hardware keeps the red cool.

Evergrain has been used far less than Togo, Epsom or Clémence, and Rubis was a short-lived color, so the pairing is uncommon.
