The original design for the Mini Kelly 20 was slightly different than the modern Kelly 20. Slightly deeper and taller, the main difference between the two is the round top-handle, which on the Vintage versions is referred to as the ‘bracelet handle.’ Vintage Kelly 20s are far more rare than their newer cousins, Hermes had far fewer production facilities and boutiques back then. The rarest vintage Mini Kellys, though, are arguably the printed silk ones. Even at JaneFinds we’ve only seen a handful over 20+ years in the business. Produced in a few different colors, this silk gem features a repeating print of owls on a green ground, trimmed in bright Rouge Vif Box leather and topped with Gold hardware. Dating from 1992 and maintained in spectacular condition, this bag is a testament to the timeless creativity at Hermes, a crown jewel in any collection.
