The story behind the Herbag
A canvas body and an unlined leather flap, finished with Hermès straps, a bell and the Clou de Selle clasp. The two parts come apart, so a flap can be paired with another body of the same size. Introduced in the 1980s and reintroduced in 2009 as the Herbag Zip.

Constructed from Vache Hunter leather, a natural-grain calfskin that develops patina over time, paired with Toile canvas panels. The leather and canvas combination is lighter than all-leather bags while maintaining structure. Black with gold hardware is the most traditional Hermès color pairing.
