HAC (Haut à Courroies) in the 32 cm format, combining Parchemin Ostrich with Toile canvas. Parchemin is a pale, warm parchment tone that reads as a muted cream-beige on ostrich's characteristic quill-follicle texture. The Toile canvas panels provide a lighter-weight contrast to the ostrich, with the natural canvas tone sitting close enough to the Parchemin that the two materials blend rather than contrast. Brushed palladium hardware has a matte finish that keeps the metal recessive against the neutral palette.
The HAC 32 has taller proportions than the standard Birkin 32, derived from the original Haut à Courroies design that predates the Birkin. The vertical silhouette gives the bag a different presence than the wider, lower Birkin profile. A □E stamp dates this to 2001, placing it in the early 2000s when ostrich-and-Toile HACs were produced in small quantities. Twenty-four years old in excellent condition, with light hardware wear and gentle use on the canvas consistent with age.
