Hermès Geta Bag Mauve Sylvestre Mysore Goatskin with Palladium Hardware
Geta (pronounced "Gueta"), it is inspired by Japanese wooden platform sandals. This compact, symmetrical messenger bag doesn’t have the typical feet of other Hermès bags. Rather, the base is an elongated “H” reminiscent of the classic Hermès Constance closure. The bag itself is built like a small box, closing with a click, and featuring a canvas adjustable strap. For now, it’s been shown in Mysore Goatskin. The bag is one of the centerpieces of the Maison's latest collection, which is inspired by the resilience and strength of women as a point of attachment in an era of reconstruction. L 21.5 x H 13 x D 5 cm
The term "hardware" refers to the metallic parts of the bag, such as the buckle hardware, base studs, lock and keys and/or strap, which are plated with a colored finish (e.g. gold, silver, palladium). The terms refer to the tone or color of the hardware and not the actual material used. If hardware is composed of precious solid metals this will be referenced in the description.
