Mauve Sylvestre is the soft dusty mauve-violet Hermès produces in select cyclical runs, named for the wild forest mauve flower and reading as a muted purple-pink with subtle grey undertones distinct from paler Mauve Pâle or deeper Anémone. On Clemence the relaxed pebbled grain holds the muted pigment with even depth, where the matte surface keeps the color reading restrained rather than saturated.
