Hermès Constance 18 Craie Epsom Gold Hardware
Hermès is renowned for its vibrant colors, yet it also offers an impressive selection of neutral hues, including "craie" which translates to "chalk" in French. This sophisticated and characterful shade complements its surroundings without overshadowing them. The unique feature of this particular Hermès Constance bag is the removable mirror. Catherine Chaillet first designed the Constance in 1959 and named it after her fifth child, who was born on the same day that the first Constance left the Hermès production store. The bag features a leather shoulder strap that allows it to hang freely and quickly became a favorite of former US First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, who helped popularize it among Hollywood's elite.

The term "hardware" refers to the metallic parts of the bag, such as the buckle hardware, base studs, lock and keys and/or strap, which are plated with a colored finish (e.g. gold, silver, palladium). The terms refer to the tone or color of the hardware and not the actual material used. If hardware is composed of precious solid metals this will be referenced in the description.
