Instead of metal hardware, the flap, sangles (straps), and clochette are embossed directly into the leather as raised relief—creating the outline of a Birkin without any actual metal components. This trompe-l'œil effect works because Swift leather is fine-grained and pliable enough to hold the embossed detail without cracking.
Rendered in Gris Pale, a pale cool grey that's lighter than Gris Perle. The light color makes the embossed shadows more visible—darker leathers obscure the relief detail.
