Hermès Birkin 35 Sellier Anate Fringe Noir Evercolor Palladium Hardware
The Anate Fringe entered the Hermès special-edition catalog for Fall/Winter 2023, an equestrian-inspired reworking of the Birkin in which leather strips emerge from the gusset seams in graduated lengths. The fringe is built into the architecture rather than applied as trim, the side panels laced and braided so the strands fall as a moving curtain down each side. Sellier construction places the stitching on the exterior, giving crisp top-stitched edges as a structured counterpoint to the kinetic sides.
Noir Evercolor carries the fine, even grain the leather is known for with its characteristic faint sheen, deep enough to hold the all-black register while keeping the fringe pattern legible against the body. Palladium hardware stays in the same cool register as the leather, the entire bag worked in a single tonal field, leather, fringe, and the braided gusset all in black. The Birkin 35 Sellier runs in lower volume than the 35 Retourné.

Collector's Insight:
The Birkin 35 Sellier is the largest format the Anate Fringe construction has been executed in. The documented Anate body across the series is Evergrain, and this Noir example in Evercolor is a less common leather variant within the same series, the same fringe construction on a different body with a smaller production count than the Evergrain Anates. Special-edition Birkin formats with structural design intervention sit outside the standard production cycle and do not return once allocated.
Resale Insight:
Limited-edition B35s with structural design intervention trade above standard production B35 pricing in pristine condition, and Sellier construction adds a configuration premium over Retourné at this size. The Evercolor variant trades less frequently than the Evergrain Anates, so pricing benchmarks against the Evergrain Anate B35 with adjustment for the leather difference and the rarity of the alternate-leather run.

The JaneFinds Beaded Semi-Precious Stone Crossbody Chain is hand-knotted from up to 60 varieties of natural semi-precious stones strung between lobster-clasp hardware at each end. The clasp configuration attaches directly to the sangle hardware of Hermès bags and converts the bag to crossbody or shoulder wear. The chain also functions independently as a long necklace without a bag attached.
Documented stone varieties include amethyst, apatite, carnelian, citrine, emerald, labradorite, lemon quartz, peach moonstone, peridot, Peruvian opal, pink moonstone, prehnite, rose quartz, ruby, sunstone, and tourmaline. Each stone is individually hand-knotted between adjacent stones, securing the strand against bead loss in the event of any single break.
