Birkin 35 in Malachite Togo with Gold hardware. Malachite is a deep green named for the banded copper mineral — darker and smokier than Vert Fonce, with more saturation than Vert Anglais. In Togo's pebbled grain the color reads muted in low light and shifts greener in direct sun.
Togo is bull calf with a pronounced, irregular grain. It resists surface scratching better than smooth leathers and does not show fingerprints. At 35 cm, the bag holds shape without internal support but will develop a slight slouch at the corners with regular use — this is characteristic of Togo, not a defect. Gold hardware warms the green.

The color was introduced in the mid-2010s and has since been retired from production. Birkin 35 remains the classic proportion — large enough for daily carry, small enough to hold by hand without overscaling.
