Hermès Birkin 35 HSS Rose Tyrien/Bleu Céleste/Lime Epsom Palladium Hardware
Hermès Birkin 35 HSS Rose Tyrien/Bleu Céleste/Lime Epsom Palladium Hardware
Birkin 35 Horseshoe Special Order in three colors on Epsom with Palladium hardware. Rose Tyrien on the front and rear body panels, a vivid, high-saturation magenta pink. Bleu Céleste on the gussets, handles, sangles, and clochette, a bright sky blue. Lime on the flap, a saturated citrus yellow. Three primaries at maximum saturation, each assigned to a specific architectural zone of the Birkin. The composition reads as color-blocked rather than blended: pink face, blue frame, yellow crown. On Epsom's pressed grain all three hold their saturation without bleeding or softening at the seam boundaries.
Tri-color HSS Birkins from this era represent the most expressive end of the Special Order spectrum. The client selected three colors that share no tonal overlap, creating a bag where the Birkin's structural geometry becomes the organizing principle for the color field. Palladium hardware provides the single cool-neutral element in the composition. O □ stamp, 2011 production.

Collector's Insight: Tri-color HSS Birkins required three independent color selections through the Special Order program, a specification level that has become increasingly restricted in recent years. The Rose Tyrien/Bleu Céleste/Lime combination uses three of the most saturated colors in the Hermès palette simultaneously, a maximalist approach that represents the opposite end of the HSS spectrum from tonal neutral pairings. O □ stamp places this at 2011, during a period when HSS color restrictions were less constrained than current allocation rules. Epsom was the correct leather choice: its rigid grain holds three high-saturation colors with clean separation at every seam.
Resale Insight: Tri-color HSS Birkins from the 2010-2014 era have become a dedicated collector category. The bold color-blocking reads as immediately identifiable as a Special Order from distance. Rose Tyrien is a discontinued pink that carries its own scarcity premium. The 35 cm format gives the tri-color composition the most visual impact of any Birkin size. Excellent condition on a 14-year-old tri-color Epsom piece indicates careful ownership.
