Grizzly is Hermès's designation for a dual-material Birkin construction pairing Veau Doblis (suede) on the body panels with smooth Swift leather on the handles, sangles, gussets, and structural trim. Bleu Tempête is a deep, desaturated teal with cool grey undertones. On Doblis, the napped surface absorbs light completely, producing a matte, velvety depth that smooth leathers cannot replicate. The Swift trim reads slightly brighter by comparison, creating a tonal contrast between body and structure that defines the Grizzly's visual signature. Interior is lined in Hermès herringbone toile canvas with Swift leather pockets, another Grizzly-specific detail that departs from the all-leather interior of standard Birkins.
