For years now, Hermès has been innovating their iconic Birkin bag design. The first glimpse of this new construction appeared in 2014 as the 40cm Vache Hunter Sellier Birkin, showcasing an unlined interior, a tethered zip pouch, and prominent stitches around the hardware on the bag's face. It took the maison's master craftsmen another five years to perfect the design, and they eventually released limited editions of 25cm and 30cm Sellier Birkins. This store-fresh piece is a prime example of the refined design, and unlike the initial version, today's Sellier Birkins boast fully lined interiors, complete with all the classic pockets we've come to know and love. This 30cm bag stands out for three reasons: its color, material, and hardware. The bag is crafted from Matte Niloticus Crocodile, in Jaune Citron. "Jaune Citron" directly translates to "Lemon Yellow" - a bright, sunny, and refreshing color that has an invigorating and uplifting quality. This hue is associated with joy, optimism, and vivacity, reflecting a sense of playful refinement. When featured on exotic skins such as alligator or crocodile, the color is utterly . The JaneFinds Beaded Semi-Precious Stone Crossbody Chain is hand-knotted from up to 60 varieties of natural semi-precious stones strung between lobster-clasp hardware at each end. The clasp configuration attaches directly to the sangle hardware of Hermès bags and converts the bag to crossbody or shoulder wear. The chain also functions independently as a long necklace without a bag attached.
Documented stone varieties include amethyst, apatite, carnelian, citrine, emerald, labradorite, lemon quartz, peach moonstone, peridot, Peruvian opal, pink moonstone, prehnite, rose quartz, ruby, sunstone, and tourmaline.
