Birkin 30 Grizzly Ghillies in a three-leather construction with palladium hardware. The Ghillies format applies brogue-style perforated leather overlays to the Birkin's edges, flap, sangles, and clochette, a technique borrowed from traditional wingtip shoe construction. "Grizzly" is the Hermès designation for bags that combine Veau Doblis suede with smooth leather in a single construction.
Three leathers, three colors. The front and rear center panels are Étoupe Veau Doblis, a warm taupe-gray suede with a soft napped surface that absorbs light and reads warmer than the same color in grain leather. The upper body and side gussets are Bambou Clémence, a bright saturated green with the relaxed, pebbled grain characteristic of Clémence. The Ghillies overlays, handles, sangles, and piping are Vert de Gris Evercolor, a muted sage green with gray undertones in a fine-grained smooth calfskin. The palette moves from warm neutral suede at the center through bright green on the body to a cooled-down sage on the structural overlays, a green gradient anchored by a taupe ground. White contrast stitching throughout. Palladium hardware maintains the cool register against the warm Étoupe center.
