Three discontinued Hermès limited edition variables converging on a single Birkin: Ghillies, Grizzly, and a three-color build. Ghillies (2011-2017, Pierre Hardy) applies brogued perforation overlays to the edges, flap, sangles, and piping, referencing traditional Scottish ghillie shoe construction. Grizzly is the house designation for bags pairing Veau Doblis suede with smooth leather in the same body. Three-color Grizzly Ghillies is the rarest subcategory of both editions, where each additional leather adds a color-matching and sourcing constraint to an already complex atelier build.
Three leathers, three colors. The front and rear center panels are Gris Perle Veau Doblis, a pale grey suede with a napped surface that absorbs light. The upper body, side gussets, and base are Turquoise Clémence, a bright saturated blue with the leather's characteristic relaxed pebble grain. The Ghillies overlays, handles, sangles, and piping are Ciel Evercolor, a fine-grained smooth calfskin in a soft dusty blue. The three-color palette moves from neutral suede through cool smooth leather to bright grained leather across a single construction, with white contrast stitching pulling the palette together. Palladium hardware holds the cool register.

Ghillies was discontinued in 2017 and has not been reissued; Grizzly production was always a minority within Ghillies output; three-color builds were a minority within Grizzly. The Gris Perle Doblis, Ciel Evercolor, and Turquoise Clémence combination is a specific documented colorway rather than a one-off, which matters for collectors tracking Ghillies provenance.
