Two-piece set: a micro-scale Classic Flap bag and a separate chain belt, produced as a unit in the early 1990s under Karl Lagerfeld. The bag is a miniaturized version of the Classic Flap ; red quilted lambskin with diamond stitching on all panels, a front flap with CC interlocking turnlock closure, and a rear half-moon slip pocket. A short top handle in gold-plated chain interwoven with red leather allows the bag to hook onto the belt or be carried independently.
The belt is a single gold-plated chain interwoven with red lambskin, fastening with a hook closure stamped with the Chanel name. A gold CC charm dangles from one end of the belt. The bag attaches to the belt via the top handle loop, hanging at the waist. Interior is lined in red leather with no internal pockets ; the cavity is too small for compartmentalization.

The belt-and-bag configuration was part of a broader category of chain belt accessories from this period, which also included medallion belts, camellia chain belts, and woven leather-and-chain styles. Gold-plated hardware was standard on Chanel bags and accessories through the 1990s; the plating on vintage pieces typically shows a warmer, deeper tone than current gold-tone production hardware. These micro bags were produced in red, black, navy, and white lambskin, as well as satin for evening.
