Chanel's round vanity sets the CC logo on a quilted case, here in black and white patent leather with gold hardware, a vintage piece from 1995.
Patent leather gives the quilting a high shine, and the white panel sets off the black CC.
Collection: 1995
Collector's Insight:
Chanel's round vanity has returned in many seasonal versions since, and this 1995 patent example is an early form of the shape.
Resale Insight:
White patent shows yellowing and color transfer, so buyers check the white panel and the edges first, along with the gold hardware for plating wear.
