Karl Lagerfeld's 1983 reinterpretation of Coco Chanel's 2.55 of February 1955: he added the interlocking CC turn-lock and the leather-threaded chain. In 2021 Chanel renamed it the 11.12, after the original medium flap's style code, A01112.
