Every visible panel, the top handle, sangles, and flap are cut from the same suede, giving the piece a tonal uniformity that reads more evening than daytime. Palladium hardware against black suede disappears into the composition, keeping the emphasis on texture rather than metal.
The Kelly Pochette is the clutch derivative of the Kelly, retaining the turnlock closure and single top handle in a flat, envelope-adjacent format. In Doblis suede the silhouette softens further, losing the rigid structure of Swift or Box versions. This construction appeared during a period when Hermès explored suede more actively across the Kelly and Birkin lines.
