Bleu France is a bright, saturated medium blue drawn from the French flag's tricolor — more vivid than Bleu Jean and brighter than Bleu de Prusse, with high color intensity that stops short of electric or neon. The chain also functions independently as a long necklace without a bag attached.
Documented stone varieties include amethyst, apatite, carnelian, citrine, emerald, labradorite, lemon quartz, peach moonstone, peridot, Peruvian opal, pink moonstone, prehnite, rose quartz, ruby, sunstone, and tourmaline. Each stone is individually hand-knotted between adjacent stones, securing the strand against bead loss in the event of any single break.
