The wicker is left in its natural undyed state, creating a warm-to-cool contrast against the White Swift.

Swift is a smooth calfskin with no visible grain — it reads clean and flat, which sharpens the visual boundary where leather meets wicker. The woven strands are integrated into the leather framework rather than attached to it; the basket structure is load-bearing. At 20 cm, this is the smallest scale the Picnic has been produced in — the weave density must increase as the panels shrink, requiring tighter strand spacing than the 35 cm version. Palladium hardware against White Swift and natural wicker keeps the palette cool.
