Jaune Citron is Hermès' saturated lemon yellow, bright without tipping into neon, closer to citrus peel than to highlighter. On ostrich the quill follicles catch light differently than the surrounding skin, breaking the color into tonal variation that keeps a flat yellow from reading flat. Sellier construction holds the rigid panels and external stitching that define the crisp version of the Kelly silhouette.
Ostrich sits lighter in hand than most leathers at equal thickness and develops a soft sheen with age rather than showing wear patterns.
