The Mini Kelly II is Hermès' reissue of the original Mini Kelly, discontinued in the late 2000s and reintroduced in 2017 in the current 20cm format. It is the smallest functional crossbody in the Kelly hierarchy. Sellier construction in this size sits in a more restricted allocation tier than Retourné, with boutique access operating on a relationship basis rather than open purchase.
Gold is Hermès' warm tan-camel, a foundation tone in the Kelly program produced consistently across leathers. On Epsom, the fine cross-hatch embossing carries the color cleanly across panels without grain distortion. Palladium hardware reads cool silver-tone against the warm body, the temperature contrast that defines the Gold and Palladium pairing. Sellier construction places the saddle stitching on the exterior, producing the architectural edges of the format. Interior lined in Chèvre Mysore.

Exact stone composition within each colorway varies by piece due to the natural variation of the source materials.
Standard length is 44 inches (112 cm), which produces a crossbody drop appropriate for Hermès bags 25 cm and smaller, including the Mini Kelly 20 II, Kelly Pochette, Constance 18 and 24, and Birkin 25.
