Blue Zanzibar arrived as a spring/summer 2017 color, a deep saturated blue with a green undertow that separates it from the house's navy and Blue Electrique registers. In Swift it reads at full strength. Swift is a smooth, fine-grained calfskin that takes dye with more saturation than the grained leathers, and on a flat, unbroken panel like the face of a Jige there is nothing to interrupt the color.

The Jige Elan is the elongated version of the Jige, a clutch with no hardware at all: the H-shaped tab slides through a leather loop, and that is the entire closure. The result is a piece defined by proportion and leather quality rather than by metal. The Elan proportion is longer and flatter than the standard Jige, cut to sit under the arm or in the hand without bulk.
