The Jige stripped hardware from the equation entirely. No lock, no turnkey, no metal anywhere;just a leather tab that tucks into a strap to hold the envelope closed. Jean Guerrand designed it in the 1970s as a pure form exercise: what remains when you remove everything that isn't essential to the gesture of opening and closing a clutch. The answer is this silhouette.
The Touch series adds exotic skin to a single element;here, the H-tab in Ombré Lizard (Varanus Salvator). Ombré refers to the natural gradation of the hide, left undyed to show the ring patterns that distinguish ring lizard from other species. The body is Noir Swift: fine-grained calfskin with a soft hand that takes black with unusual depth. Twenty-nine centimeters accommodates phone, cards, evening essentials. No interior compartments, no pockets;a single open cavity. Store-fresh 2025 production.
