Hermès Jige Elan 29 Anémone Epsom

Sale price$6,311.00 CAD

Hermès Jige Elan 29 Anémone Epsom

Anémone is a cool-toned purple drawn from the flower that names it, a saturated mid-violet that sits between Raisin and Ultraviolet in the Hermès palette. On Epsom the color reads sharp and graphic rather than soft, because Epsom's embossed grain reflects light uniformly across each facet rather than pooling it the way Togo or Clemence do. The finish suits high-chroma colors that benefit from crisp definition.

The Jige Elan is Hermès's long clutch silhouette, designed by Jean Guerrand and named from his initials. The H-tab flap closure is the defining signature. Epsom construction holds the elongated format flat and structured rather than slouched. Z stamp places production at 2021.

Collector's Insight: The Jige Elan is Hermès's most quietly essential clutch and rotates through the house palette on a seasonal basis rather than as a permanent stock item. Anémone is a cycling color, not part of the permanent rotation, and the combination with Epsom is produced in smaller batches than Swift or Evercolor equivalents.

Resale Insight: Jige Elans in cycling colors hold value well because boutique availability is inconsistent and buyers often cannot get specific color-leather combinations on request. Saturated purples have a dedicated collector base that tracks Hermès's periodic violet releases across Anémone, Raisin, and Ultraviolet.
