Porosus crocodile is the most luxurious exotic skin from Hermès. It is created by polishing the spots with agate for a"Lisse Finish"to the leather of crocodile known as “salt water crocodiles” inhabiting in brackish waters and originating from Australia and Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore. Australian Saltwater Crocodile or more commonly called Porosus Crocodile is the most expensive and exclusive leather in the world.

The 35cm is the original size designed for Jane Birkin in 1984, balanced silhouette valued for its capacity as a functional day bag. Interior is lined in matching Chevre leather with one zip pocket and one open pocket. Signature turn-lock closure, front flap, and sangles complete the hardware configuration.
