The Sellier Birkin returned to production in 2020 after decades of Retourne exclusivity, and a Y stamp example places this bag in that first reintroduction wave. External saddle stitching, knife edge corners, and Epsom's embossed rigidity produce the sharpest architecture the Birkin 30 has ever carried, a construction that holds its silhouette empty or full.
Etain is the deepest of the Hermès greys, a pewter with warm undertone that sits below Etoupe and reads almost charcoal in low light.
