A Lizard Birkin is a true rarity from Hermes, but most Lizard bags have a shiny finish. Matte Lizard is extremely rare, and highly cherished by Hermes collectors. This example, a Birkin 25 with Gold hardware from 2008, is done in Ebene, a rich earthy brown that is enhanced immeasurably by the unique texture of the Matte Lizard. Lovingly and gently used, this Birkin has been maintained in good condition, with slight variations to the dark coloring adding a touch of patina.
The 25cm is the most compact option in the standard Birkin range, balanced silhouette. Interior is lined in matching Chevre leather with one zip pocket and one open pocket. Signature turn-lock closure, front flap, and sangles complete the hardware configuration.
