Hermès Béarn Wallet Violine Ostrich Gold Hardware

Violine is a deep violet that leans toward plum, and on ostrich the quill follicles sit darker than the skin between them, so the color reads in two tones across the front.

The Béarn closes with a slim ostrich tab that drops through a gold H clasp and holds the wallet flat.

Inside, violet leather lines every surface that handles cards and coins: a row of card slots, two long flat pockets and a zipped coin compartment finished with a gold H pull. The ostrich is kept to the exterior and the tab.

Collector's Insight:
Every ostrich skin carries its own pattern of quill follicles, so no two ostrich Béarns share the same front, and gold hardware gives the violet its one point of warm contrast.

Resale Insight:
On an ostrich wallet, buyers check the corners, the fold and the tab where it passes through the H clasp, since those take the most handling.
