Launched around December 2018, the Hermès 24/24 Bag seamlessly blends elements of the iconic Birkin and Kelly designs. Its recent reiteration is the new 21 size, offering compact proportions of 21 cm in width and 16 cm in height. The bag elegantly combines Evercolor calfskin at its base with a Swift calfskin flap, available in Gold complemented by gold hardware. Aptly named to represent its day-to-night versatility, the 24/24 – 21 is designed with a casual style and reworked strap, allowing for various wear options including as a belt bag, backpack, or sling bag.
Distinctive features such as dual ring loops at the back provide for strap customization, echoing the versatility of the Kelly Danse, while offering a more spacious interior and an additional top handle. This practical design includes a zipped pocket inside and another compartment on the outside, making it a convenient everyday bag in a time where smaller designs are highly popular. The 24/24 – 21 presents a wide range of classic colors in its Evergrain calfskin, a supple leather type that first graced Hermès collections in 2012 and continues to maintain its timeless appeal.
