Rouge Casaque is a vivid saturated red drawn from the Hermès equestrian palette, named after the silk jockey jacket worn at the racetrack. The color sits between Rouge Vif and Rouge H — brighter than the deep wine-tone reds, sharper than orange-leaning corals. On Evercolor the pigment carries with high consistency across the leather's pebbled grain, with the leather's water-resistant treatment locking color saturation tightly to the surface.
The Constance was introduced in 1959 by designer Catherine Chaillet and named after her daughter born the same year. The Mini 18 is the smallest Constance proportion in current production, with the H tournant clasp scaled to fit the compact body and a long shoulder strap that sets the model apart from the larger Constance 24.
