A single-color tonal study where texture does the work: matte black ostrich feathers hand-applied across the front of a black Chèvre Chamkila body. The feathers shift and separate with movement, revealing glimpses of the glazed goatskin beneath. The rear panel and gussets remain clean leather. Palladium hardware reads as cool metallic interruption in the otherwise all-black surface.
The Kelly Folie is the feathered variant of the Kelly Élan, debuted on the Hermès runway in 2023 and released to retail in 2024. Chèvre Chamkila is a dense, glazed goatskin with a high surface gloss that prevents the leather base from receding behind the matte feather layer, maintaining visual contrast within a single-color palette. Detachable shoulder strap snaps under the front flap. W stamp places production at 2024, within the first retail production year.

Collector's Insight: The Folie is produced in small runs as a runway-to-retail release and sits in a separate allocation category from standard Kelly and Birkin production. Each bag requires individual feather-application labor beyond the standard leather atelier process, which caps output independent of leather supply. Noir is the most commercially visible Folie colorway and is likely to see more total production than Bleu Frida or the exotic-base Porosus variant, but early-year production remains the most documented collector cohort.

The JaneFinds Beaded Semi-Precious Stone Crossbody Chain is hand-knotted from up to 60 varieties of natural semi-precious stones strung between lobster-clasp hardware at each end. The clasp configuration attaches directly to the sangle hardware of Hermès bags and converts the bag to crossbody or shoulder wear. The chain also functions independently as a long necklace without a bag attached.
