The story behind the Kelly Danse
Designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and introduced in 2008, discontinued in 2013 and reintroduced in 2019 as the Kelly Danse II. An adjustable strap lets it be carried as a clutch, on the shoulder, crossbody, at the waist or as a backpack.
The Kelly Danse is a transformable design by Jean Paul Gaultier that can be worn as a backpack, crossbody, shoulder bag, or belt bag by adjusting the single long strap through the Kelly-style handle. The "II" designates the current production version with updated proportions. Evercolor is a smooth, flat-grain calfskin with a matte finish and moderate structure, less prone to scratching than Swift. White Evercolor produces a clean, opaque surface. Palladium hardware. Kelly turn-lock closure on the front flap.
