Sellier on Lizard requires the craftsperson to fold rigid exotic skin into precise outward-stitched edges with no margin for error; the scale pattern must align across every seam. The result is architectural where Retourne is soft.
Rouge Vif on Lizard reads differently than on smooth leather;the scales fragment light across the surface, giving the color visible depth and shift. Gold-plated hardware warms the red further. Vintage-era top handle with longer proportions than current production. Original 89 cm shoulder strap with period-correct hardware attachment. Interior lined in matching red leather. Four base feet.
