Hermès Birkin 30 Graphite Buffalo with Palladium Hardware - 2005, I Square
White Buffalo Birkins are known to most for their spotted Dalmatian iterations, the rare leather was also used in solid color bags, though solid can hardly describe the effect this material has on color. Sporting some of the deepest and roundest grains on any Hermes leather, Buffalo is unique for the tone-on-tone spotted patterns that form whenever the material is dyed. This exceptional 30cm example is done in Graphite Buffalo, sporting spots of charcoal, and Palladium hardware. But Buffalo Birkins are special in another way, too. Most, including this fine example, are also lined with Buffalo, so the spotted pattern continues inside and out! This rare collectors piece has been kept in exceptional condition, and rarely comes to market.

The term "hardware" refers to the metallic parts of the bag, such as the buckle hardware, base studs, lock and keys and/or strap, which are plated with a colored finish (e.g. gold, silver, palladium). The terms refer to the tone or color of the hardware and not the actual material used. If hardware is composed of precious solid metals this will be referenced in the description.
