IWC Portugieser Chronograph Ref. IW371404, number 27 of 50 pieces produced for the 2006 Michael Mann film Miami Vice. Black dial with silver subdials in the reverse panda configuration, which was unique to this edition at the time of release. Rose-gold-toned hands against the black dial provide legibility and warmth. The standard Portugieser Chronograph layout: 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, running seconds at 6 o'clock.
Stainless steel case, 40.9 mm diameter. Automatic chronograph movement, Caliber 79350. The caseback is engraved with the Miami Vice logo and the individual edition number (27/50), serial 3121059. Black alligator leather strap with pin buckle. "CHRONOGRAPH AUTOMATIC" at 9 o'clock, "IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN" at 3 o'clock, "SWISS MADE" at 6 o'clock.

Interior is lined in matching leather. Hermès craftsmanship is evident in the hand-stitched saddle stitch, a technique that uses two needles working in opposite directions through pre-punched holes. Each piece is completed by a single artisan.
