Hermès Verrou Chain Ombre Lizard Palladium Hardware
This featured Verrou Chaine Mini is crafted from Ombre Lizard which is fairly unprocessed in order for it to maintain its natural texture and beauty. Definitely a collector’s favorite, Hermes bags in full lizard skin are extremely valuable, even more so now as the Maison rarely use it for its new creations.
The Verrou Chaine was introduced as a clutch in 1938 by Hermes chairman, Robert Dumas. The bag’s distinctive clasp was inspired by the humble closure system of horse stalls. The Verrou was then updated and reintroduced in 2017, during the maison’s Spring/Summer collection.
