A vintage Kelly 32 Retourne transformed by the JaneFinds Custom Shop. Gold leaf applied over Rouge H Box calfskin;the metallic surface intentionally distressed to reveal the burgundy leather beneath. The crackling creates organic pattern; no two areas wear identically. The effect bridges jewelry and handbag, the gilded surface catching light while the Rouge H warmth shows through at edges, creases, and stress points.
Box leather provides the rigid foundation that holds gold leaf well; the smooth surface accepts the gilding evenly before the intentional distressing reveals contrast. Gold hardware disappears into the metallic surface;tonal rather than contrasting.

Interior is lined in matching leather. Hermès craftsmanship is evident in the hand-stitched saddle stitch, a technique that uses two needles working in opposite directions through pre-punched holes. Each piece is completed by a single artisan.
