The HAC À Dos is Hermès' backpack reinterpretation of the Haut à Courroies, the trapezoidal "tall belts" travel bag the house has produced since the 1890s as a riding-equipment carrier. The À Dos translates the HAC silhouette to a single-strap shoulder or backpack carry, retaining the original's flap closure, sangles, and turn-lock construction while adapting the proportions for hands-free wear. The PM is the smaller of the two sizes, with the GM offering expanded interior capacity at larger dimensions.
Vert Absinthe is a pale yellow-green introduced in 2022, named for the herbal liqueur and reading as a clean pistachio shade with subtle warmth. Togo is a grained calfskin valued for scratch resistance and the way it softens with carry while holding structure. The grain catches light unevenly across the panels, producing dimensional surface depth that flatter leathers suppress. Palladium hardware reads cool silver-tone against the pale green ground. Interior lined in matching Swift calfskin with one zip pocket and the D-ring anchor. Tonal Amazone canvas strap is adjustable across shoulder, crossbody, and backpack positions.
