Hermès Bolide 40 Shark Indigo Blue Togo Unisex Bag Palladium Hardware
Very special and with very small production numbers for the USA. The Bolide was the first bag to ever use a zipper for its fastening and its trapezoid shape allowed it to be stowed into the trunk of a car with lightning speed (bolide means meteor, and is a term used by astronomers). As the age of the automobile began to open doors for those imbued with the spirit of adventure, the Bolide, with its sleek and elegant design quickly became the ultimate travel accessory. Never worn and kept in Pristine condition by a seasoned collector. A highly collectible and rare bag.

The term "hardware" refers to the metallic parts of the bag, such as the buckle hardware, base studs, lock and keys and/or strap, which are plated with a colored finish (e.g. gold, silver, palladium). The terms refer to the tone or color of the hardware and not the actual material used. If hardware is composed of precious solid metals this will be referenced in the description.
