The center closure mirrors the motif, a crocodile strap threaded through a larger stirrup buckle with snap fastening. Side hook closures pull the tapered edges inward to secure the opening. Structured but not rigid, with an open top that gives wide access to the interior.
The crocodile is matte-finished, center-cut belly section with large, uniform rectangular tiles. Red is saturated and consistent across the surface. Matte crocodile absorbs light rather than reflecting it, so the tile pattern reads as texture rather than shine. Gold-tone hardware runs warm against the red without competing.
