Lime Matte Alligator Mississippiensis with Palladium hardware. Lime sits in pale yellow-green territory;softer than Soufre, more citrus than Jaune Poussin. The matte finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, giving the scales a velvet quality that shiny exotics don't offer. American alligator shows the species' characteristic rectangular tile pattern, larger and more uniform than Porosus crocodile. Twenty years old and pristine;matte exotics from this era rarely survive without scale lifting or corner wear.
