Kelly 25 Sellier Casaque Étoilée in Ardoise Epsom, Noir Tadelakt, and Vert Peppermint Chèvre Mysore with Palladium hardware. Three leathers, three colors, one construction. Ardoise Epsom forms the primary body panels, a dark slate grey with cool undertones and a pressed grain that holds the Sellier's rigid geometry. Noir Tadelakt provides the vertical stripe panels, a smooth calfskin with a subtle sheen that creates a textural contrast against the Epsom's matte grain. Vert Peppermint Chèvre Mysore is cut into five-pointed stars inlaid across both materials. Chèvre's tight, fine grain holds the star shapes with clean edges at miniature scale.
The Étoilée (starred) pattern is a leather marquetry technique that requires precise cutting and assembly across three different hides with different thicknesses and grain behaviors. The Casaque series references jockey racing silks; the Étoilée variant adds the star graphic to the color-blocked stripe language. Sellier construction is the only viable format for this level of multi-leather panel work, as the external stitching holds the composite panels taut. Interior is lined in Chèvre.
